CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Secretary Public Prosecution visited Chiniot on Tuesday to review the performance of the prosecution department and assess ongoing reforms aimed at improving the delivery of justice.

During the visit, the secretary said he was touring various districts to evaluate the functioning of prosecution offices and monitor progress on departmental reforms. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the prosecution system to ensure effective legal proceedings and timely justice.

The deputy commissioner, speaking on the occasion, said coordination between the district administration, police, and prosecution department would be further enhanced to ensure justice for victims and improve the overall legal process.

The secretary also visited the District Public Prosecution Office, where he reviewed prosecutors’ attendance, office discipline, and ongoing prosecution matters.
