Proposed delimitation of 10 Wards of Cantonment Board Multan announced, objection invited

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The District Election Commissioner-II Multan has released the preliminary details of ward delimitation for the Cantonment board Multan (CBM) under the Cantonment Local Government Act 2015.

A total of 10 wards have been proposed in the preliminary delimitation and citizens and other stakeholders have been invited to submit their objections or suggestions regarding the proposed boundaries from Mar 6 to 25, 2026, at the office of the Regional Election Commissioner, Multan, says an official release.

The announcement stated that after receiving objections and suggestions, hearings will be conducted and the final delimitation will be notified accordingly.

Under the proposed plan, Ward No. 1 will consist of Mohalla Jameelabad, Multan Cantt and Qasim Line areas. Ward No. 2 will include Airport Road and adjoining localities. Ward No. 3 will cover Mansoor Kiani Road and Jail Road areas.

Ward No. 4 will comprise High Court Road, Lal Kurti Eidgah Road, Allama Iqbal Town, Mohalla George Court, Khalid Colony, Shafaat Colony and Mohalla Ghair.

Ward No. 5 will include FG Boys School, Mall Road Cantt, Babu Mohalla, Ghani Bukhari Road, Saddar Bazaar, Mohalla Shah Faisal, Mohalla Seth Abu Muhammad and Mohalla Rehman Pura.

Ward No. 6 will consist of Chungi No. 1, Multan Cantt, Qasim Line, RPO Office and MGM Club. Ward No. 7 will include Aurangzeb Road, Garrison Health Centre, Baloch Regiment Mosque and the western side of Sher Shah Road/Aurangzeb Road in Multan Cantt.

Ward No. 8 will comprise FG Public School, and adjoining area. Ward No. 9 will include Mohalla Askari Colony Phase I and II, Kahkashan High school and others while Ward No. 10 will consist of Fort Colony, Sher Shah Road and adjoining areas.

District Election Commissioner-II Multan Muhammad Adnan Zafar urged the public and stakeholders concerned to review the proposed delimitation and submit their objections or suggestions within the stipulated period to facilitate the finalization of the delimitation process.
