QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd May, 2026) Balochistan Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani on Friday chaired a meeting regarding the resolution of financial constraints and development issues being faced by colleges in the province.

Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, along with officials from relevant departments, also attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed in detail the financial challenges being faced by various colleges across the province, ongoing development projects, provision of basic facilities, and measures to improve the quality of education.

Speaking on the occasion, Provincial Ministers Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani and Mir Shoaib Nosherwani stated that promoting higher education in Balochistan and providing students with a better academic environment remain among the government’s top priorities.

They emphasized that practical and effective measures would be taken to address the issues being faced by colleges in order to further improve the performance and standards of educational institutions across the province.
