Price control measures finalised for Ramazan

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Assistant Commissioner Sara-e-Alamgir Farooq Azam held a meeting with representatives of the local traders’ association to finalise arrangements for the sale of essential commodities during Ramazan.

The meeting focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply of daily-use items and strict implementation of government-notified prices across the tehsil.

Traders agreed to sell all essential items at officially fixed rates during the holy month. Special stalls will also be set up at Ramazan Bazaars to provide food items at controlled prices.

The Assistant Commissioner directed traders to strictly follow the official price list and refrain from hoarding or profiteering. He warned that legal action would be taken against violators to ensure compliance with government directives.
