President Trump hints at US-Iran talks in Pakistan within days

US President stated that Pakistan appears to be a strong choice for the negotiations.

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has indicated that Pakistan is being considered as a preferred location for upcoming negotiations with Iran, while also praising the performance of Pakistan’s military leadership.

Speaking to a reporter from the New York Post, Trump suggested that developments could unfold within the next two days and hinted that the US may once again opt for Pakistan as a venue for talks.

He stated that Pakistan appears to be a strong choice for the negotiations, adding that “the Field Marshal(Syed Asim Munir) is doing a great job,” in reference to Pakistan’s military leadership.

Trump further remarked that due to the performance of Asim Munir, Washington is seriously considering returning to Pakistan for diplomatic engagement with Iran.
