President lauds security forces for successful operation against terrorists

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari Monday paid tribute to the security forces for the successful intelligence-based operation against the Indian-backed Fitna al-Khawarij in Dera Ismail Khan.

He said, "Killing the Indian-backed Khawarij during the operation and recovering weapons from them is a manifestation of the professionalism and determination of the forces.

"

"Operations against the Indian-backed terrorist elements are indispensable for national security"," he said, adding, "The nation is proud of the sacrifices of its brave forces and law enforcement agencies."

He said, "Foreign sponsors of terrorists should remember that Pakistan will not only send their pawns to hell but will also reach these sponsors."
