President commends CTD Balochistan for successful operation in Quetta, Barkhan

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday paid tribute to the Counter Terrorism Department Balochistan for successful operation against terrorists in Quetta and Barkhan.

The president, in a statement commended the CTD personnel for killing 14 terrorists of Fitna-al-Khawarij.

He prayed for speedy recovery of the CTD personnel who were injured in exchange of fire with the terrorists.

"CTD Balochistan is playing prominent role in safeguarding the country against terrorists," he added.

He said that eliminating externally sponsored terrorism from the country was the top priority of the government.
