President approves conferment of Nishan-e-Khidmat, honorary doctorate on MWL Secretary General

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jul, 2026) President Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday approved the conferment of the Nishan-i-Khidmat award on the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa.

The president approved the conferment of the award on the Muslim World League chief in recognition of his outstanding services for interfaith harmony, promotion of moderation, strengthening cooperation among the Muslim Ummah, and his notable contributions to the Islamic world.

President Zardari also approved the conferment of honorary doctorate in Islamic Studies and International Relations by the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) on Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa.
