Presence of pharmacists in pharmacies, medical stores to be ensured

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The district administration has announced to introduce digital system for presence of pharmacists during opening time of pharmacies and medical stores.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters) Sara Zainab while chairing a meeting of district quality control board here on Friday said that ban has also been imposed for opening pharmacy / medical stores for those having the pharmacist degree from the provinces other than Punjab.

In the meeting, 39 cases related to medical stores were listened of which 16 cases were prosecuted, 18 were issued warnings and 5 cases postponed due to lack of documentation.
