PPPP Spokesperson condoles martyrdom of Ali Larijani

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Central Spokesperson of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Shazia Marri has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of senior Iranian official Ali Larijani.

In her statement, Marri said she was deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Dr Ali Larijani, describing the incident as a significant loss not only for Iran but for the entire region.

She extended heartfelt condolences and solidarity to the Iranian leadership, government and people during this difficult time.

Marri strongly condemned and termed Israeli aggression and its policies contributing to rising tensions in the region.

She said that such actions are a blatant violation of international laws and risk further destabilizing an already fragile regional environment.

Emphasizing the need for peace, she urged all parties to exercise restraint and demonstrate responsibility to ensure stability.

“Peace and security in the region can only be achieved through patience, dialogue and adherence to international norms,” she said.

The PPP leader reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with the people of Iran in this challenging moment.

She also called upon the international community to play its role in de-escalating tensions and ensuring justice through fair and balanced measures.

Marri prayed for the departed soul, asking Allah Almighty to grant him the highest place in Jannah and to give patience and strength to the bereaved family.
