PPP Quetta division marks Benazir Bhutto’s birthday

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Quetta Division leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue the party’s political struggle in light of the democratic and progressive vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

The PPP local office observed the birthday of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto with simplicity but deep reverence. Party leaders and workers from various divisions, organizations, and wings attended the ceremony, cut a cake, and paid glowing tributes to the “Daughter of the East” and “Martyr of Democracy.”

PPP Quetta Division President Sardar Khair Muhammad Tareen, along with divisional presidents and senior leaders including Naeem Baloch, Rafiq Sajjad, Rahmatullah Kadezai, Muhammad Umar Musa Zai, Shahjahan Gujar, Dr. Ubaidullah Kakar, Akhtar Baloch, Haji Anwar Ronjho, Ismatullah Khiazai, Khalid Hussain Dhurpali, and others, participated in the event.

Speakers hailed Benazir Bhutto not only as a political leader but as a symbol of democracy, Federal unity, and the struggle for the rights of marginalized communities. They recalled her lifelong resistance against dictatorship, political oppression, and extremism, and her dedication to the supremacy of the Constitution and democratic values.

They emphasized that Benazir Bhutto gave hope, courage, and political awareness to Pakistan’s poor, workers, farmers, women, youth, and oppressed classes. Her martyrdom, they said, transformed her into an unforgettable figure in history.

The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of martyrs’ ranks, sustainable democracy, public prosperity, national unity, and peace and development across Balochistan and Pakistan.
