Police writ fully established in Khyber: DPO

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) District Police Officer (DPO) Khyber Waqar Ahmed on Wednesday said police writ had been fully established in the district and all possible measures were being taken to ensure the protection of the public.

He said the police were fully prepared to deal with any situation in the district.

According to police officials a video related to Fitna al Khawarij went viral on social media after which Khyber Police immediately reached Bypass Dogra Road and ensured necessary security measures.

The DPO said the search and monitoring of suspected individuals was continuing in the area.

He said checkposts had been established across the district while surveillance through drones and monitoring was also being carried out to maintain law and order.
