Police responsible for public, property protection: SDPO Ali

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jul, 2026) Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Gandawah, Zulfiqar Ali Pandrani on Friday said that the Primary responsibility of the police was to protect the lives and property of the public, ensure the rule of law and serve the citizens without any discrimination.

While addressing police officers here after assuming charge, he directed all the police officers to make every effort for eliminating crime, making the patrolling system effective and treat the public with courtesy.

SDPO Zulfiqar Ali Pandrani said law violators would be dealt with an iron hand, adding that all available resources to be utilized to establish law and order situation in the area and ensure a safe environment to the citizens.

Meanwhile, the public and social circles of Gandawah have welcomed the appointment of Zulfiqar Ali Pandrani as SDPO.
