Police recover drugs, Illegal weapon; arrested 2 suspects

MUZAFFARGARH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) The Police on Thursday arrested two suspects and recovered narcotics and an illegal weapon during separate operations in the district, police sources said.

According to police, a Fatehpur police led by Assistant Sub-Inspector, Khalid Khan conducted a raid and arrested a notorious drug dealer identified as Talat.

During the operation, the police recovered ice 205 grams (crystal meth) from the suspect.

A case had been registered against the accuse and started further prob, they added.

In another operation, Sub-Inspector, Amir Aslam of Kot Sultan Police Station, accompanied by a police team, arrested a suspect identified as Muhammad Zubair for possessing an illegal weapon.

The police recovered a 30-bore pistol along with ammunition from his possession, the sources said.

A case had been registered against the suspect and further investigation was underway, the police added.
