Police net four gang members, seize five stolen motorcycles

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Feb, 2026) Police have arrested four members of two criminal gangs involved in robbery, street crime and recovered five stolen motorcycles, three mobile phones, Rs 66,000 and weapons from their possession.

The arrests were made during a crackdown against organised criminal networks operating in different parts of the city, a police spokesman said here on Tuesday.

During operation, Saddar Wah police arrested two suspects involved in street crime and motorcycle theft, recovered a stolen motorcycle, three mobile phones, 50,000 rupees in cash and weapons.

In a separate operation, Sadiqabad police detained two suspects linked to robbery and motorcycle theft, seized four stolen motorcycles, 16,000 rupees in cash and weapons.

Separate cases have been registered against all the suspects, police said, adding that they would be produced before a court with solid evidence.

Police warned that individuals involved in crimes against citizens’ lives and property would not escape the law, adding that further investigations were underway.
