Police impound car used in 'fraud case'

LODHRAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) Police impounded a car allegedly used in a fraud case registered in Bahawalpur district during a routine checking operation at Rukanpur.

According to police sources, the action was carried out by the Rukanpur police post on the directions of DSP Patrolling Khalid Mahmood Wattoo.

During routine checking, police traced and seized a white Suzuki Alto bearing registration number BDQ-139, which was reportedly being used in fraudulent activities.

The vehicle was taken into police custody, and further legal proceedings were initiated in coordination with the relevant authorities.

DSP Patroling Khalid Mahmood Wattoo appreciated the performance of the checking team for successfully tracing the vehicle, said the statement.
