CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) Chiniot Police on Wednesday organized an awareness seminar on “Responsible Digital Behavior” as part of efforts to promote a safe and secure digital environment in the district.

The seminar was held at Masoomeene College Chiniot and attended by District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif, police officials, college administration, teachers, and a large number of students.

Addressing the participants, DPO Dr. Naveed Atif highlighted the importance of responsible use of digital devices. He said that modern technology should be utilized for positive purposes, including education, awareness, and personal development, which he described as a key need of the present time.

He urged students to use mobile phones and the internet for acquiring knowledge, learning new skills, and contributing to the betterment of society.

He added that responsible digital behavior forms the basis of a safe and civilized society, and emphasized that real-life relationships and social values should not be neglected despite growing engagement in the digital world.

The DPO also briefed students on the harmful effects of drug use and other social issues, advising them to stay away from such activities. In addition, he provided guidance on traffic rules and road safety to promote law-abiding behavior among the youth.

At the conclusion of the seminar, students described the session as highly informative and called for the continuation of such awareness programs in the future.
