Police held 22 criminal, recovered weapons drugs, phones

LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Following the directives of SSP Larkana, Ahmed Chaudhry, PSP, QPM, the Larkana Police have intensified their ongoing operations against criminal elements on Wednesday.

The police successfully apprehended 22 suspects during raids across various locations, recovering a significant cache of weapons, drugs, stolen iron, wire, a Mazda truck, and stolen valuable mobile phones, among other items.

According to details, Aqil Police conducted a successful operation in the Katcha area of Peer Sher Wali and arrested the wanted suspect involved in a murder case, Abdul Qadeer son of Abdul Rasool Jatoi. A valuable mobile phone stolen from a citizen, Hussain, was also recovered.

Waleed Police arrested criminal Aziz Chandio carrying illegal pistol in the Labor Colony area and registered a case under the Sindh Arms Act. The Waleed Police also arrested three suspects named Ghulam Qadir, Riaz, and Gulzar along with liquor.

Civil Lines Police arrested a three-member gang involved in theft, namely Ameer Khoso, Rehman Pathan, and Mehmood Shah Pathan, along with stolen iron, wire, a Mazda truck, and other goods from the Bus Stand area.

Ratodero Police arrested the suspect Saheel Sheikh involved in a rape case. Nodero Police arrested a proclaimed offender, Zulfiqar Channo. Meanwhile, three suspects named Mujahid, Naeem, and Zohaib were arrested along with liquor.

Dokri Police arrested four suspects named Dadlo, Raja, Rashid, and Aqeel along with liquor and registered cases against them. Airport Police conducted a successful operation in the Vikro Village area and arrested two wanted suspects, Aslam Junejo and Juman alias Mor Junejo.

Rahmatpur Police arrested the wanted suspect Nadeem alias Bago Chandio from the Bhains Colony area. Ali Goharabad Police arrested the drug peddler Rashid Korai along with drugs (cannabis) and registered a case against him. Dadri Police arrested a suspect named Fateh Muhammad along with liquor and registered a case against him.
