Police crackdown in Chiniot nets four suspects, stolen goods recovered

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Apr, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, law enforcement agencies have intensified operations against criminal elements across the district, leading to the arrest of four suspects involved in serious offenses.

According to police officials, SHO Rajuha Police Station Sub-Inspector Waseem Sajjad, along with his team, on Saturday conducted a targeted operation resulting in the apprehension of individuals allegedly involved in dacoity, theft, and burglary. Stolen property worth over one million rupees was recovered from their possession.

Authorities further revealed that the arrested suspects were wanted in as many as 11 cases registered at Rajuha Police Station, highlighting their involvement in a series of criminal activities.

Investigators are continuing to interrogate the suspects, with expectations of further significant disclosures.

District Police Officer Dr. Naveed Atif stated that concrete measures are being implemented to safeguard the lives and property of citizens. He emphasized the use of both human resources and modern technology to track down offenders, urging the public to report any suspicious or criminal activity to the nearest police station or by dialing 15.
