Police carry out flag march in Nawabshah

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Jun, 2026) On the directives of SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, a flag march was carried out across various areas of the district to ensure peace and security during the holy month of Muharram.

The initiative aimed to maintain law and order, promote an atmosphere of harmony, and send a clear message to criminal elements.

The flag march was conducted with full participation from the district police leadership.

All SDPOs and SHOs, along with their respective personnel, actively took part in the exercise. Vehicles and personnel of Madadgar 15, who remain on alert for emergency response, were also included in the march. Pakistan Rangers personnel, along with their vehicles, participated in the march, reflecting strong coordination among law enforcement agencies and further strengthening the security arrangements.

The purpose of the flag march was to instill a sense of security among citizens, ensure foolproof arrangements for Muharram gatherings and processions, and warn miscreants and criminal elements that no compromise would be made on maintaining law and order in the district.

On the occasion, SSP Sameer Noor Channa directed police officers to deal with citizens courteously and to maintain strict vigilance at entry and exit points of the city.

He also appealed public to cooperate with police and administration in maintaining peace and to immediately report any suspicious activity to Madadgar 15.
