Police arrest three suspects, mainpuri, liquor, car recovered

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) Hyderabad police arrested three suspects in two separate operations and recovered mainpuri and liquor, police said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesperson, Naseem Nagar police, under the supervision of DSP Baldia Zahoor Ahmed Soomro, conducted a raid in Shora Goth and arrested suspect Rashid Ali Mallah.

Police recovered 200 packets of mainpuri from a sack, tobacco packed in two plastic bags, mainpuri sachets and other related material from his possession. A case has been registered against the suspect under the Mainpuri and Gutka Act.

In another operation, police arrested suspects Ramesh alias Raju and Akash and recovered 12 bottles of liquor, 12 bottles of beer and a Mehran car from their possession. A separate case has been registered against the suspects.
