Police arrest drug pusher, seize hashish in raid

HAFIZABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Mar, 2026) The police here on Tuesday arrested an alleged drug trafficker and seized hashish 10 kilograms during a targeted operation, the official sources said.

According to police sources, the suspect, identified as Zaheer, was taken into custody by a police team from Sadar Police Station' jurisdiction.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of District Police Officer (DPO) Kamran Hamid, while Station House Officer (SHO) Liaqat Hussain Bhatti led the raid.

The sources said a significant quantity of hashish was recovered from the suspect’s possession and taken into custody. A case registered against the accused and further investigation had been launched, they added.
