Police arrest 43 suspects,30 PO's in district crackdown

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) Police conducted a comprehensive crackdown across the district, arresting 43 suspects,including 30 proclaimed offenders(PO's),during the past 24 hours,officials said on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesman, coordinated raids were carried out by multiple police stations in different localities, resulting in the arrest of individuals wanted in a range of serious criminal cases.

The proclaimed offenders were allegedly involved in offenses including murder, attempted murder, robbery,dacoity,cattle theft, motorcycle lifting and other crimes.

The arrested suspects were identified as Aslam,Nouman,Sultan,Shamas,Shamsahir,Saqib,Hassan,Mehmood,Tipu,Taimoor, Majeed, Sarwar, Sibtain and Anjum, among others.

Police also recovered stolen motorcycles,livestock,narcotics including heroin, opium, hashish and ice,illegal weapons,including pistols, guns and ammunition.

Officials said the crackdown against criminal elements would continue across the district without discrimination to ensure law and order.
