Police arrest 12 suspects, recover liquor, mainpuri, gutka

On the orders of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razak Khan Dharejo and the instructions of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, Hyderabad Police is continuing its operations against criminals and accused involved in social evils

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) On the orders of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razak Khan Dharejo and the instructions of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar, Hyderabad Police is continuing its operations against criminals and accused involved in social evils.

According to details, SHO City Police Station SHO Inspector Shaukat Ali Malokhani, acting on a tip off arrested Faheem Ansari, a wanted and absconding accused and seized 10 bottles of liquor from the possession of the accused and registered a case against the accused under Hudood Ordinance.

In a another drive Municipality Police Station SHO Inspector Syed Faiz Shah, acting with staff, foiled the supply of raw materials and main puri. In two separate operations and recovered 200 main puri packets.

Accused Nadeem Qureshi was arrested and 100 mainpuri and 3 pieces of cut raw material mainpuri were recovered from the possession of the accused, while 1 loader rickshaw was taken into police custody from the possession of the accused.

SHO Bhitai Nagar Police station Inspector Ghulam Hussain Pirzado with his staff arrested the accused Tahir Hussain Bhutto, Dilshad Shoro and Suleman Shoro and 335 pieces of gutka were recovered from their possession.

A case was registered against the accused under Gutka and Mainpuri Act.

SHO Pinyari Police station Inspector Agha Asadullah Pathan along with his staff arrested the dealers Aqeel Qazi and Nabil Qazi and recoveed 580 pieces of Mainpuri from the possession of the accused.

Meanwhile SHO Hussainabad Police Station,Inspector Aslam Baloo along with his Staff arrested the drug supplier Gul Hassan Mallah and recovered 1 kg 10 grams of marijuana from the possession of the accused and registered case against the accused under substance of Narcotics control act.

During further investigation, drug dealers Ehsan Chandio and Saif Ali were arrested and 10 liters of raw liquor was recovered from the possession of the accused.

A case was registered against the accused under Hudood Ordinance. Accelerating its operation against drugs GOR Police Station SHO Inspector Mazhar Ali Soomro wit hhis Staff

arrested the main puri vendor Sabir Ali and recovered 120 main puri from the possession of the accused. A case was registered against the accused under Gutka and Main Puri Act.
