Police have arrested a key proclaimed offender (POs) wanted involved in murder, attempted murder, and assault case

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jul, 2026) Police have arrested a key proclaimed offender (POs) wanted involved in murder, attempted murder, and assault case.

According to police spokesperson, the suspect, along with his accomplices, allegedly opened fire on rivals over a longstanding personal enmity, killing one person and injuring three others in Chontra area.

The accused had been evading arrest and had been wanted by police since June 2025.

Police said the arrest was made through a targeted operation based on technical surveillance and human intelligence.

Three of the suspect's alleged accomplices had already been arrested in the same case.

SP Saddar Anum Sher stated that the accused will be presented before the court with substantial evidence to ensure the case proceeds in accordance with the law.
