PNCA invites young crafters to honour Pakistan's architectural legacy on national day

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) The Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) has announced a nationwide crafting competition for students aged 10 to 18 years, timed to coincide with the country's Pakistan Day celebrations on the 23rd of March.

According to an official source, the competition calls upon young participants to use art materials of their own choice to craft models or representations of historical buildings and monuments from across Pakistan, capturing the architectural and cultural heritage of the nation through their own creative hands.

The participants are required to record a video of themselves in the process of crafting their chosen historical structure.

The recorded video must not exceed 150 seconds in duration and must be compressed to a file size of no more than 25 megabytes. All completed entries are to be submitted digitally by emailing the video to ddnptcaw@gmail.

com before the deadline of 25th March 2026.

The results will be officially announced on March 28.

The competition carries meaningful recognition for those who participate. Every student who submits a valid entry will receive a certificate of participation issued by PNCA.

The three students whose work is judged most outstanding will be awarded cash prizes in accordance with the prescribed rules which is Rs. 30,000 for first place, Rs. 20,000 for second place, and Rs. 10,000 for third place, making the competition a genuine incentive for young artists and craft enthusiasts across the country.
