BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Probationary officers of the Punjab Management Service (PMS) visited the head office of Bahawalpur
Waste Management Company (BWMC) for an official briefing on waste management operations.
On the occasion, Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Naeem Akhtar welcomed the officers and provided
a comprehensive overview of the company’s administrative structure, responsibilities, and operational framework.
Senior officials of the company were also present during the session.
The CEO informed the officers that the company is efficiently managing sanitation operations across three districts and 15 tehsils of the Bahawalpur division through a coordinated strategy.
He explained that all stages of waste management—from collection to final dumping—are monitored through a real-time digital tracking system to ensure transparency and efficiency.
Later, Senior Manager MIS Muhammad Irfan Mahmood briefed the officers on the digital monitoring system, complaint redressal mechanisms, vehicle tracking systems (VTS), and weighbridge monitoring procedures.
At the conclusion of the briefing, CEO Muhammad Naeem Akhtar responded to questions from the probationary officers and expressed his best wishes for their professional careers before formally concluding the visit.
