PMML Dera launches Ramazan Sehar-o-Iftar outreach campaign

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) Dera chapter has announced an extensive Ramazan relief initiative aimed at supporting underprivileged families across the district, including the establishment of an Iftar dastarkhwan at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

The decision was made during a cabinet meeting of the party’s local chapter, where members resolved to dedicate the holy month of Ramazan to serving the needy people.

Addressing the meeting, PMML Dera President, Chaudhry Qamar Muhammad Ramzan, said that the party’s welfare wing has formally launched a comprehensive Sehar and Iftar program for the month.

Under the initiative, daily Sehar and Iftar meals would be arranged, benefiting hundreds of people. In addition to setting up Iftar arrangements at various locations, the organization will also establish a special Iftar dastarkhwan at DHQ Hospital to facilitate patients and their attendants.

Chaudhry Qamar stated that volunteers have compiled data of deserving families, laborers, travelers, and low-income individuals from different neighborhoods and residential areas of the city. The dedicated teams have been formed and assigned responsibilities to ensure that Sehar meals are delivered directly to homes in various parts of Dera city.

He appealed to the residents of Dera Ismail Khan and philanthropists to join hands in this noble cause and actively participate in supporting the Ramazan outreach campaign, emphasizing that collective efforts can significantly ease the hardships faced by the underprivileged during the holy month.
