PMML condemns Bannu twin bomb blasts

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Jun, 2026) The Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML) has strongly condemned the twin bomb blasts in the Domel area of Bannu that claimed seven lives and left several others injured.

In a joint condemnation statement on Saturday, PMML President Khalid Masood Sandhu, described the incident as a tragic act of terrorism and said that lasting peace must remain a top national priority. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, and stressed that terrorists and their facilitators must be dealt with firmly and brought to justice.

Other PMML leaders also expressed deep grief over the loss of precious lives and extended their sympathies to the bereaved families.

They stated that targeting innocent civilians is a reprehensible act that deserves the strongest condemnation.

Party's central spokesperson Dr. Muzammil Iqbal Hashmi termed the Bannu blasts an attack by enemies of peace and humanity, saying that terrorist groups and extremist elements pose a serious threat to the country's stability and security. He emphasized that such elements must be confronted without compromise.

The condemnation was expressed by Secretary General Saifullah Kasuri, Vice Presidents Hafiz Talha Saeed and Hafiz Abdul Rauf, Joint Secretary Muhammad Yaqoob Sheikh and Deputy Secretary General Khalid Naik Gujjar.
