PML N leaders pay tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA)

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Former Member National Assembly and ex-Mayor Multan Sheikh Muhammad Tariq Rashid, former Deputy Mayor Munawar Ahsan Qureshi and former Punjab Labour Coordinator Hamid Khan paid tribute to Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the martyrs of Karbala, describing their sacrifices as an eternal symbol of truth, justice

and human dignity.

They expressed these views while addressing an annual "Langar and Niaz" ceremony held at the residence of Hamid Khan.

The speakers said the tragedy of Karbala teaches steadfastness in the face of oppression, adherence to principles and the willingness to make every sacrifice for truth and justice.

They added that the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was not merely a historical event but an enduring message of freedom, courage and

the protection of human values.

They urged the younger generation to seek guidance from the life of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and play an active role in promoting tolerance, brotherhood, patience and honesty in society.

Senior PML-N leaders Jameel Abbasi, Sheikh Hashim Tariq, Shakir Dilawar Qureshi, Zahid Lal, Mazhar Gujjar, Sabir Ali Qureshi, Mama Mughal, Kashif Mughal, Muhammad Aamir, Irfan Khan, Sheikh Latif, Rao Muaz, Rao Ejaz, Rao Fazal, Rao Mohsin and others attended the ceremony.
