PML-N Abbottabad steps up organizational revamp to boost party strength

ABBOTTABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st May, 2026) The Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Abbottabad held its weekly organizational meeting at the district secretariat under the chairmanship of District President Malik Mohabbat Awan, where key decisions were taken to strengthen the party structure.

During the session, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Gujar was elected as President of PML-N Cantt Abbottabad, with a formal notification issued to confirm his appointment.

District Information Secretary Malik Sohail Awan said that the meeting was attended by a large number of party office-bearers and workers. Addressing the gathering, Malik Mohabbat Awan highlighted Pakistan’s growing international stature, stating that the country’s role as a mediator reflects responsible and dignified diplomacy.

He noted that only a trusted nation can act as a mediator between conflicting parties, adding that Pakistan’s efforts are enhancing its positive global image. He expressed optimism that continued diplomatic engagement would help bring stakeholders to the negotiating table and pave the way for a mutually acceptable solution.

Referring to Pakistan’s facilitation efforts for a second round of talks between Iran and the United States, he termed the initiative extraordinary. He also said that the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in promoting global peace is being widely acknowledged at the international level.

The meeting was also addressed by Provincial Vice President Shaukat Haroon Khan Jadun, Tehsil President Abbottabad Khurram Khan Jadun, District Vice Presidents Master Sardar Ilyas, Inayat Shah, Malik Yasir Ali, and Ahmed Nawaz Khan Jadun, former provincial ticket holder Sardar Khalid, and Social Media Team District President Abrar Tanoli, among others.

Participants also offered Fateha for the departed soul of the wife of Younis Qureshi, a member of the PML-N Abbottabad Executive Committee.
