PML-F is True Representative of Sindh’s People, Says Shafqat Shah

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th May, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) is the true representative of the people of Sindh and a patriotic, ideologically committed political party that has consistently struggled for the country’s security, stability and public rights, the party’s Sindh finance secretary said.

In a statement on Sundat, Syed Shafqat Ali Shah said PML-F has stood with Pakistan in every difficult time and played a historic role in defending the country’s borders and national unity. He added that Pakistan’s brave soldiers gave a strong response to hostile forces and Indian aggression, forcing the enemy to retreat and raising the nation’s pride.

He said that under the prudent, farsighted and pro-people leadership of PML-F President Pir Sadruddin Shah Rashidi and spiritual leader Pir Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi, the party is working practically for the service of Sindh’s people, provincial development, prosperity, restoration of law and order, and resolution of basic issues.

He stated that the people of Sindh have faced deprivation, insecurity, corruption, unemployment, inflation, and a deteriorating health and education system for decades. PML-F and the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) are fighting for public rights on every forum, he said.

According to Syed Shafqat Ali Shah, farmers, labourers, youth, women, and the business community in Sindh are distressed by the current government’s policies and are now looking to the GDA for change.

Shah said PML-F believes in principled politics, public service, and politics in the national interest. The party has never pursued personal gains or power politics, and has consistently raised its voice for public issues and Sindh’s rights, he added.

He claimed that the people of Sindh are now politically aware and will reject corrupt and failed elements in favour of honest and pro-people leadership. “The coming time belongs to the GDA and PML-F,” he said, adding that, InshaAllah, the next government in Sindh will be formed by the GDA and will usher in a new era of merit, justice, development and prosperity.

Shah said the next government would ensure health, education, employment and basic facilities for the people of Sindh, and would empower youth to put the province on the path of progress.

He added that PML-F believes in public power and considers party workers its valuable asset, urging them to go door to door with the party’s message and continue united struggle for a bright future for Sindh.
