PM expresses grief over loss of lives in building collapse incident in Karachi

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep grief and sorrow over loss of precious lives caused by a building collapse in Karachi’s Soldier Bazaar area.

In a statement issued by the PM House Media Wing, the prime minister offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members, and prayed for the elevation of ranks of the departed souls in Jannah.

He also prayed for speedy recovery of those injured in the incident and directed the relevant authorities to provide all possible medical assistance to them.
