PM Announces Annual Observance of “Day of the Battle for Truth” on May 10

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced that Pakistan will observe May 10 every year as “Youm-e-Marka-e-Haq” (Day of the Battle for Truth). He announced while addressing a central ceremony held in Islamabad.

Addressing a central ceremony in Islamabad, the prime minister said the day would be celebrated nationwide with enthusiasm and a spirit of national unity.

Shehbaz Sharif stated that when the enemy attempted to impose war on Pakistan, the armed forces responded with strength and determination. According to him, the enemy suffered heavy losses and sought a ceasefire within hours of the confrontation.

He stated that after the war was imposed, the Pakistan Armed Forces gave a strong response to the “cowardly enemy,” forcing them to request a ceasefire within four hours.

Shehbaz Sharif further said that Pakistan’s falcons dominated the skies, while enemy aircraft were left destroyed.
