PIEAS open house, career fair 2026

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th May, 2026) The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), under the auspices of the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), successfully concluded its Open House and Career Fair 2026.

The event brought together students, academia, industry leaders, national and international companies, and media representatives on a vibrant platform dedicated to promoting innovation, research, and professional development.

During the event, final-year students from various engineering and scientific disciplines presented more than 120 innovative projects. These projects focused on emerging technologies, research, creative problem-solving, and

industrial applications, earning widespread appreciation from industry representatives for their technical depth

and practical relevance.

The fair also featured the participation of approximately 50 renowned national and international companies and organisations. This provided students with valuable opportunities for professional networking, career guidance,

internships, training, and future employment prospects, ultimately strengthening the vital linkages between

academia and industry.

On the occasion, Rector PIEAS, Dr. Anila Usman, described the capabilities of young engineers and scientists

as a guarantee for Pakistan’s bright future. She emphasized that the PIEAS Open House and Career Fair 2026

Dr Anila Usman further stated that PIEAS remains deeply committed to preparing the youth to play an effective
