PHC disposes of three petitions regarding missing persons

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) The Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday disposed of three petitions regarding missing persons following the recovery of the individuals, while one petition was referred to the Missing Persons Commission (MPC).

A bench headed by Chief Justice SM Atiq Shah took up a total of six petitions concerning missing persons.

During the hearing, the AAG, DAG, and police officials appeared before the court.

The PHC also sought reports from relevant authorities in two other petitions related to missing persons.
