PHA launches tree plantation drive

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Mar, 2026) Managing Director Parks and Horticulture Agency (PHA) Sargodha, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, on Sunday formally inaugurated a tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling to promote practical measures against climate change.

According to PHA Media consultant Shafqat Awan, the MD was accompanied by senior PHA officers during the ceremony. On this occasion, the Managing Director Parks and Horticulture Agency distributed fruit and flower saplings among children and parents to raise awareness about environmental protection.

Addressing the participants, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad urged the children to take personal responsibility for the care of these saplings until they grow into sturdy trees.

He emphasized that instilling a love for nature and a sense of responsibility in the younger generation was a collective duty. The MD reaffirmed his commitment to the "Clean and Green" vision, aiming to increase the green cover across the Sargodha district.
