PHA Lahore Orders Inquiry into Deer Deaths at Bagh-e-Jinnah

Committee has been instructed to complete investigation within 24 hours and submit a detailed report outlining findings and recommendations

LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News-Feb 25th, 2026) Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore Managing Director Raja Mansoor Ahmed on Tuesday directed an official investigation into the recent incident that resulted in the death of deer at Bagh-e-Jinnah.

A two-member committee has been formed to carry out the inquiry, comprising Additional Director General PHA Lahore, Zona Waheed Butt, and Director Finance, Ahmed Saeed Manj.

The committee has been instructed to complete the investigation within 24 hours and submit a detailed report outlining the findings and recommendations.

The decision aims at identifying the cause of the incident and ensuring proper measures are taken to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
