PFC, ChenOne celebrates one year of 'Marka-e-Haq'

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th May, 2026) Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) Chief Executive Officer Mian Kashif Ashfaq said

that a sound economy and strong defence were indispensable pillars for ensuring

national stability, sovereignty and sustainable development.

Addressing as chief guest at a ceremony held to mark one year of 'Marka-e-Haq'

jointly organized by the PFC and ChenOne here Sunday, he added that no nation

could progress without maintaining a balance between economic growth and defence

preparedness.

He extended congratulations to the nation on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq,

describing it as a historic milestone and a symbol of unity, determination, and national

progress.

He said, the operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos not only had united the nation but also

demonstrated Pakistan’s military, diplomatic, and economic strength before the world.

The PFC chief praised Pakistan Armed Forces for their strategic acumen, courage,

and professional excellence in responding to the adversary, calling it a proud and historic

chapter in the country’s history.

He said, economic strength enables a country to provide employment opportunities,

improve infrastructure, enhance exports and uplift the living standards of the people,

while a robust defence system safeguards national interests against external and

internal threats.

"Political harmony, continuity in policies and investor-friendly measures are essential

to attract local and foreign investment," he observed.

Mian Kashif urged the business community, policy-makers and institutions to work

collectively for economic revival and industrial growth. With unity, determination and

effective planning, he said, Pakistan could emerge as a strong, stable and prosperous

nation capable of meeting future challenges successfully.

Pakistan possesses immense potential in various sectors including agriculture,

information technology, manufacturing and furniture exports, which could significantly

contribute to strengthening the national economy, he concluded.
