MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) intensified crackdown against unhygienic food practices by sealing a bakery production unit in Jinnah Abadi, Khanewal, after recovering a massive quantity of rotten and contaminated eggs allegedly meant for preparing bakery products.

The action was carried out on the directives of Director General Syed Musa Raza under the authority’s zero-tolerance policy.

According to officials, a Food Safety team conducted a raid at the bakery unit where hundreds of foul-smelling, blood-stained and broken eggs were discovered during inspection.
