SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) on Monday seized and discarded 300kg of adulterated khoya during a crackdown on food adulteration on Kot Momin-Mateela road.
A PFA spokesperson said that the raid targeted a production unit where on-site tests revealed the presence of starch in the khoya.
The product was deemed unfit for consumption.
The team sealed the unit for violating food safety standards and registered an FIR against those responsible for compromising public health.
Citizens have been urged to report complaints and suspicious food activities by calling the PFA helpline at 1223.
