Peshawar lawyer compiles books on Pakistan’s Constitution, family laws

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) Well-known legal expert from Peshawar, Muhammad Hamdan Advocate, has compiled two books explaining the Constitution of Pakistan 1973, constitutional amendments up to 2025, new laws and family laws in simple language.

The books, titled “Constitution of Pakistan 1973” and “Family Laws”, have been prepared in an easy-to-understand style so that lawyers, judges, students and ordinary citizens can better understand constitutional and legal matters.

According to Muhammad Hamdan Advocate, copies of the books have been provided to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court, judges of the Federal Constitutional Court, as well as judicial academies, universities and other institutions.

Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and members of the constitutional bench of the Supreme Court appreciated the initiative and acknowledged the effort through separate written notes.

Hamdan Advocate said that the books will help lawyers, judiciary, parliament, the executive, students and citizens understand the Constitution, including the 27th Constitutional Amendment, fundamental rights, family laws and other legal provisions more easily.

He added that the books were written in simple language so that even people with little knowledge of the Constitution and law can read and understand them, promoting awareness of constitutional and legal principles in the country.
