PESCO holds online E-Katcheri to address consumer complaints

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) on Wednesday organized an online e-katcheri on Facebook to address electricity-related complaints of consumers, a spokesperson said.

During the session, General Manager Operations Muhammad Zubair Khan listened to consumers' grievances regarding power outages, excessive load-shedding and electricity faults in different areas.

Consumers of Bazaar Kali and Bashir Abad feeders complained about prolonged load-shedding.

The spokesperson said line losses on the feeders had declined during the current month, following which Zubair Khan directed officials to reduce load-shedding in the affected areas.

Several consumers also lodged complaints about electricity breakdowns from their homes during the online session.

The spokesperson said the relevant departments were instructed to restore power supply immediately in the affected localities.
