LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Apr, 2026) Punjab Executive Board of CEOs (PEBC) delegation led by its President Syed Omer Sharif Bukhari met Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol here at LCCI on Thursday.
Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh and Vice President Khurram Lodhi and Executive Committee Members were also present. The delegation comprised CEOs and representatives from various companies including Abdul Wahab, Asfand Yar Khan, Sher-e-Murtaza Babar, Zeeshan Ali Malik, Ayesha Saleem, Ayesha Abdullah Butt, Malik Naeem, Hamid Hameed, Ulfat Hussain, Zahid Bukhari, Adeel Gondal, Saima Saddiq, Shamsa Butt, Engineer Javaid Iqbal, and Rana Nadeem.
Speaking on the occasion, LCCI President Faheem Ur Rehman Saigol said that true strength of any company lies in its human resources, professional capability, and leadership vision. He stated that the Lahore Chamber serves as a vital platform where the business community is provided opportunities to grow in line with global standards through modern technologies, training programs, seminars, and workshops. He added that the promotion of business activities not only stabilizes the economy but also plays a key role in job creation and increasing government revenue.
He expressed the desire to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PEBC and to enhance regular interaction between the two sides.
He assured that the Lahore Chamber would extend full support in providing national and international business guidance, networking, and financial facilitation. He emphasized that joint efforts are essential to mentor emerging entrepreneurs and nurture their potential.
On the occasion, CEO Minds Pakistan Chief Executive Abdul Wahab said that the platform was established to connect business communities across Pakistan. He shared that the network currently has over 5,000 members nationwide, with dozens of new companies joining daily. He noted that the formation of the Punjab Executive Board of CEOs (PEBC) aims to provide mentorship to young and emerging entrepreneurs and help them advance in the business world.
Abdul Wahab highlighted that a lack of strong linkages with chambers of commerce often creates challenges for business delegations at the international level, particularly in visa facilitation and global networking. He stressed the need for close collaboration with the Lahore Chamber and organizing joint events, stating that such initiatives would benefit the business community and strengthen the national economy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing mutual cooperation, expanding business activities through joint initiatives, and working together for the guidance and development of young entrepreneurs.
