Payment of dues to retired KDA employees continues

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) Director General Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Asif Jan Siddiqui and KDA Member Finance Navid Anwar Siddiqui have decided to further accelerate the process of paying dues to retired employees of KDA.

In this regard, the KDA administration has initiated the payment of dues to senior retired employees on a merit basis, so that relief can be provided to employees who have been waiting for their dues for a long time, said a spokesperson on Friday.

KDA Director General Asif Jan Siddiqui stated that 18 employees who retired in December 2020 were paid dues amounting to approximately Rs 450 million last month. Continuing this series, the dues of approximately 37 employees who retired in January and February 2021, totaling approximately Rs 770 million, have now been paid.

He reiterated the commitment that the KDA administration will continue to prioritize resolving the issues of retired employees and providing their financial rights.
