Parents must work day & night to fulfill needs of their children for securing their future: Governor

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Thursday said that parents are the basic unit of our social system and this is also a great responsibility.

In his a message to all parents, he said that they work day and night to fulfill the needs of their children and secure their future because their real asset is their children.

He mentioned that if children are not given timely, proper education and training, then the hard work and investment of parents could go in vain.

He said that a major problem in today’s busy life is that parents are so involved in economic and social activities that they are unable to find time to train their children.

The Governor said that they often delegate their responsibility to school teachers, as a result of which children suffer from inattention and deprivation, due to which the desired objectives of upbringing and character development are not achieved.

He said that despite their busy schedule, parents must find time for their children adding that it should be remembered that children need proper attention, love and presence of parents more than any other facilities.

Parents admit their children to good schools to make them successful and useful citizens, but it is not wise to leave them to the mercy of educational institutions alone, he said.

The Governor said that it is very important to provide quality education and training to children about their possibilities and needs to face the challenges of the future.

He said that of course, education begins after a few years of schooling, but training begins from the first day in the mother's lap, therefore, good education as well as good training is very important for a strong foundation of character and personality.

He said that in this way, all children would grow up and be able to play a full role in the development and prosperity of the country and nation.
