Pakistan will go to any length to defend nation, Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Feb, 2026) Minister of State for Interior, Talal Chaudhry on Friday reaffirmed that the government and Pakistan armed forces are prepared to go to any extent to defend the nation, warning Afghanistan to become a peaceful neighbor and praising the armed forces for their swift and decisive response.

While speaking to a private news channel, officials said Pakistan has launched the ‘Ghazab lil Haq’ operation against the Afghan Taliban regime, underlining the country’s commitment to eliminating threats and protecting its citizens.

He praised the Pakistan armed forces for their swift and effective response to previous aggression along the western border, highlighting their professionalism, readiness and firm stance in safeguarding national sovereignty.

Minister Talal Chaudhry warned that Afghanistan must become a peaceful neighbor or face Pakistan’s decisive action, emphasizing that the government and armed forces are fully prepared to defend the nation’s sovereignty and security.

He said Pakistan will not allow anyone to snatch peace from the country, warning that any attempts to disturb its security will be firmly dealt with.

He emphasized that terrorism must come to an end and reiterated that Pakistan remains committed to peace, highlighting the nation’s desire for stability in the region.
