Pakistan’s key diplomatic role in historic Iran-US agreement being recognized globally: Fahmida

QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Jun, 2026) Asian business Forum Pakistan Chapter Chairperson Fahmida Kausar Jamali on Sunday said that Pakistan’s key diplomatic role in the historic Iran-US agreement is being recognized globally.

Welcoming the historic agreement signed between Iran and the United State (US), she said that Pakistan has once again demonstrated its importance and prestige in the international community by playing a very effective, far-sighted and responsible role in this important diplomatic development.

In a statement, she said that Pakistan has always played a positive role in promoting regional and global peace, stability and dialogue, and Pakistan’s mediation and diplomatic efforts in the Iran-US agreement are a continuation of this bright tradition.

Fahmida Kausar Jamali said that this development is not only a success of Pakistan's foreign policy but also a source of pride and satisfaction for the entire nation.

She said that the country's diplomatic activities under the leadership of Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Sharif have further strengthened Pakistan's image at the global level, while state institutions have played a valuable role in establishing peace and stability in the region by prioritizing national interest.

She paid tribute to the leadership, vision and national services of Field Marshal Asim Munir, saying that his thoughtful strategy, effective coordination and continuous efforts for national security as well as regional peace have further strengthened Pakistan as a responsible and reliable state.

Fahmida Kausar Jamali said that Field Marshal Asim Munir not only played a significant role in making the country's defense impregnable but also effectively highlighted Pakistan's position at the diplomatic level.Kausar Jamali said that Pakistan's balanced foreign policy, wise leadership and peace-based diplomatic strategy have further increased the trust of the international community in Pakistan.
