Pakistan Post devises Eid delivery schedule

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Mar, 2026) Pakistan Post has announced special operational arrangements for mail delivery during Eid holidays to facilitate the public across the country.

According to an official statement, delivery offices will remain open on Friday, March 20, exclusively for distribution of mails in case the moon will not be sighted on March 19.

However, if Eid falls on March 20, mail delivery will instead be carried out on Sunday, March 22.

The department further decided that District Mail Offices, International Mail Offices and their relevant sections would remain partially operational with limited staff on March 20 and 21, despite public holidays, to ensure smooth transmission of mail.

The initiative aimed to minimize disruption in postal services and provide continued facilitation to the public during the Eid holidays, it said.
