Pakistan issues visas to Indian pilgrims on death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued 438 visas to pilgrims from India to attend commemorative events scheduled to be held in Pakistan from 21-30 June 2026

NEW DELHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) On the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi has issued 438 visas to pilgrims from India to attend commemorative events scheduled to be held in Pakistan from 21-30 June 2026.

Extending his heartfelt felicitations to the pilgrims, Charge d’Affaires Saad Ahmad Warraich underscored Pakistan’s continued commitment to promote inter religious and intercultural harmony and understanding.

The issuance of visas is covered under the framework of the Pakistan-India Protocol on Visits to Religious Shrines of 1974.
